Computer Repair Questions
How Much Does Computer Repair Cost?
It starts with a $95 diagnostic, which counts toward the repair if you go ahead; if you decide not to repair it, the fee covers the diagnostic. You see the price for parts and labor and approve it before any work begins. A water-damage diagnostic is also $95, but it's paid up front and isn't refundable. Local pickup is $95, or you can ship the computer to us.
Will I Lose My Files?
A normal repair leaves your files where they are. A failing drive, malware, or a required reset can put data at risk, so tell us what matters most and back up what you can. If the drive is failing, we do basic data recovery in-house and tell you if it needs clean-room recovery, which we don't do here.
Is My Computer Worth Fixing?
Often, yes: a new drive or more memory can make a good computer feel new again. If the repair would cost more than the computer is worth, we'll say so, and we can set up a replacement and move your files.
Do You Repair Macs as Well as Windows PCs?
Yes, every brand, desktops and laptops alike. Our team includes Apple-certified technicians. Some models have parts or manufacturer limits, and we explain them during diagnosis.
How Long Does a Repair Take?
Most computer repairs take 24 to 72 hours, depending on how busy the bench is, and we usually send an update the next day. Expedited service bench repair ($189) moves your computer ahead of the regular queue.
Is the Repair Under Warranty?
Yes. Hardware repairs use OEM-quality parts and carry a 90-day warranty, and software and other computer services carry 30 days. Physical or water damage isn't covered.
